Before I start this week’s entry, I’ll have to admit that classes have started up again at St. John’s, and these entries will have to end up being weekly, as opposed to the (somewhat) regular bi-weekly posts you readers are used to.

Happy Jaunary 2nd everybody. Shockwaves were sent throughout the Big East on Monday night when No. 8 Georgetown upset No. 2 UConn on its homecourt. But with the holidays getting in the way of the midweek updates once again, I will post updates at the end of the week, as the weekend promises to be just as exciting as the five days preceeding it.
