The St. John&#8217;s men&#8217;s soccer team earned a first round bye in the Big East Tournament Sunday with its 2-0 win over Syracuse.
Tadeu Terra and Connor Lade scored goals for the Red Storm, and goalkeeper Derby Carillo made four saves in the shutout win.

When the St. John&#8217;s men&#8217;s soccer team&#8217;s game against Syracuse last Wednesday was canceled, it created an odd schedule for the end of their regular season.
They played Depaul at 7:30 in Queens, then immediately got on the bus for the 264 mile trek to Syracuse to take on the 3-14 Syracuse Orange.
